The brief

Pippa O’Connor’s logo over the years had become a little dated and for someone who is constantly in the public eye, a fresh new look was needed. Along with this the old brand had no supporting visual language to bring consistency to the brand. To add to this Pippa had also decided to create a new sub brand called the Pippa Collection which would be used to highlight her products that wouldn’t fit under the POCO brand.

The Solution

Our solution was to fully redesign the Pippa brand to better reflect who she is and what her audience is. We also created a brand for the Pippa Collection that would work in harmony with the Pippa brand.

One of the main challenges was to create a brand that gave flexibility moving forward, especially as Pippa’s range of products grows. We wanted to create a pattern range for Pippa to use across her product range, we also wanted these patterns to be changeable within the logo. By utilising the large P as a housing device for patterns and as a symbol we created a very flexible graphical element that could change and move across products.

By creating a bespoke font, the new logo also has a unique look and feel.
